The Fancy Face Adelaide experience

Fancy Face Adelaide is an Adelaide based face painting and party entertainment service. Founded by Casey in 2022, Fancy Face Adelaide provides the area with a face painting services to make everyone look and feel their most colourful. We exclusively use certified face painting products (TAG).

We've been seen at events such as children's birthday parties, sports carnivals, AFL games, fundraisers, hen's nights, Christmas carols, family fun days and season-opening events.

Some places you may have seen us are at the Matilda's game, Port Adelaide Football Club home games, Adelady breast cancer fundraisers, Pankind fun walks, Melba's chocolate factory school holiday activities, Foodland Golden Grove, Hahndorf Lavender Estate, Somerton Surf Life Saving Club, North Adelaide Golf Course, Westfield Tea Tree Plaza, Civic Park Carols, Mt. Barker and Balhannah Carols or at a friends birthday party!

Meet Our Team

Casey

The founder of Fancy Face Adelaide, Casey has experience working with children for over 5 years. Her passion for face painting started as an activity to do at her job at a Vacation Care Centre and grew into starting her own face painting business. Since starting Fancy Face Adelaide, Casey has expanded the business to a duo to keep up with the demand for fancy faces!

Sammy

Sammy is an expert face painter. Sammy has worked as a face painter for many years and has her own business, "Sammy's Art Face Painting". Sammy has taught our team many new facepainting tips and tricks and is a welcomed addition to our group. She is a fun burst of energy at any event and loves to bring a smile to glittery faces! 

Steph K

Steph brings an extensive background in art to the team. Steph has worked and volunteered in child services for many years and enjoys getting involved in facepainting and our other services. Steph is cool under pressure and helps us create masterpieces for a wider range of people.  Steph has worked at many larger events such as PAFC men's and women's football games and the SAFL finals.

Tayla

Tayla is a painter at heart and with over 5 years of experience working with children face painting was a perfect fit for her. Painting has always been a hobby of Taylas, and when approached to try face painting at her Vacation Care Centre she jumped at the opportunity and has been with us ever since. Tayla is a valuable team member of Fancy Face Adelaide and allows us to work at much larger events or at multiple events on the same day.

Steph G

Steph is a flourishing artist, she uses her creativity in her own business "Nails by Nin" where she creates incredible nail designs. Steph tried facepainting and has found it to be lots of fun and wants to get involved in facepainting further. Steph is a natural and is always willing to paint something she's never painted before.  Steph is a fresh face, great with kids and an amazing addition to our team.

Ashlee

Ashlee is a new member of our team who is ready for anything. Ashlee is a skilful glitter artist and a fun person with kids. Ashlee is a valuable team member of Fancy Face Adelaide and brings such joy to the people she paints!

Insurance

We are insured by Duck for Cover. An entertainers insurance group that keeps both you and us safe!

Working with Children clearances

All of our staff have Police Clearances, Responding to Abuse and Neglect training and over 5 years of working with children in a variety of settings. 

First Aid and CPR training 

All staff members are first aid and CPR trained, with all staff taking regular recertification courses. 

Mental Health First Aid training

We are trained in mental health first aid. Keeping everyone safe in different or difficult sitations.

TAG Body Art Products

We use TAG Body Art products. TAG Body Art products are hypoallergenic non-toxic and are made of skin-safe ingredients. The glitters we use are cosmetic grade, meaning they are safe to use on skin and around eyes. We use these products to keep you and your skin happy. If you have any queries about skin sensitivities feel free to ask for a more detailed list of our products. 

Face Painting School Course

We have taken online face painting courses to develop our basic skills. We have used skills from this course to develop unique designs of our own. 

Deaf Awareness training

We aim to be inclusive to all communities and allow everyone to have sparkles and colours at their events. Through the Deaf Butterfly Effect training, we have painters who are aware of the cultural nuances of the deaf community and have learnt to communicate using basic AUSLAN.

Autism Awareness training

All painters at Fancy Face Adelaide are experienced with interracting and adapting to the needs of people with autism.  We have staff trained through the Department for Education in handling situations that can cause heightened emotions for people with autism and how to deescalate these situations.
